Going off-topic here. I am seeing a load of people on fb get their accounts restricted due to posting something as simple as a cat video. The AI acts on the accounts automatically, but nothing is done when there are things like reports of gore etc - things are left online!

The enshitification of FB makes this inevitable - question is how. They're not necessarily difficult to start, but having them grow at scale requires huge amounts of capital and that either leads us down the same path as FB or becoming a target for takeover.
